Q's Penang Prawn Mee (Halal)
Just got back from Penang. Missed Penang Prawn Mee as over there is all non Halal. So here I would like to share with you my very own version of prawn mee using prawn shell and chicken as stock.
Ingredient - 1 kg prawn, 1 kg chicken breast, 6 nos egg, 5 pcs fish cake, 500 gm kangkung, 200 gm beansprout, 1 kg yellow mee. Chilli paste - blend 10 nos shallots & 3 cloves garlic and 200 gm chilli boh.

Homecook CNY 2012 Menu
This year eve of eve Chinese New Year falls on Saturday and it is also my off day. So we did not plan to eat out. After a few round of food tasting prepare by one of the Chinese Chef, it gave me some idea of what to prepare for this year.

Weekend Menu #4
Another successful menu to share with you. Chinese New Year is just the corner maybe you would like to try your hand on these menu?

Butter Prawn
800 gm prawn (remove shell but with tail on)
5 nos of chili padi (remove seed)
200 ml low fat milk
1 tsp flour
30 gm butter
Methods
1) Heat up wok
2) Melt butter and stir in prawn
3) Mixed flour with milk and pour in once prawn turn red
4) Add chili padi and remove and serve
Pineapple Chicken
400 gm minced chicken (Ayamas)
2 nos tomato (dices)
1 small tin cube pineapple
Salt and pepper to taste
Methods
1) Mixed minced chicken with salt and pepper
2) Heat wok with 4 tbsp oil
3) Shape minced chicken with two soup spoon
4) Fried till golden brown
5) Sautee pineapple and tomato till soft
6) Remove and serve
