Q's Homemade Loafs

Roasted Almond Loaf
Almond are one of the most nutritious of all nuts.

Fruits are nature's wonderful medicines packed with vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and many phyto-nutrients.  They are absolute feast to our sight, not just because of their color and flavor but their unique nutrition-profile that help the body stay fit and healthy.



Before I start making my own bread, I thought that we need a bread maker to bake a loaf of bread. NO all you need is a help of an oven. I used to knead and wait for the dough to double it size.  But after following AFC (Asian Food Channel) I found a new method to bake bread without kneading the dough. So I give it a try and to my maze it really work. Here is the simple basis recipe on how to bake your own bread.

Ingredients:
(A)
350gm High Protein Flour (Super Fine Flour)
2.5gm Bread Improver
(B)
50gm Icing Sugar
200ml Warm Water
6gm Instant Dry Yeast
(C)
1no Egg (Break)
1tsp Vanilla Essence
30gm Butter

Methods:
1. Sift ingredient (A) in a mixing bowl
2. Mixed ingredient (B) in a bowl
3. Pour ingredient (B) and (C) into ingredient (A)
4. Mix until dough comes together in a shiny mass and pulls away from the sides of the bowl
5. Cover the bowl with a damp tea towel
6. Leave the dough under the hot sun till the dough rise double in size
7. Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes
8. Once the dough has rise, remove it to the loaf pan
9. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes
10. Brush the top of cook loaf with butter
11. Let it cool before slicing the loaf
Note: You can add in mixed fruits, various type of nuts, spices or even cheese
