Q's Set Menu (23rd February 2013)

Nice food does not mean that you need expensive ingredients to whip up a nice and tasty meal. Let me share this menu with you and it will not cost you much.

Set Menu
Clock-wise from top. Acar Nyonya.
Ikan Sardine Sambal, Hard-boiled Egg and
Kangkong Sambal Belacan
 3 Spices Rice
1pc Cinnamon Bark, 3 nos each of Cardamon Seed and Anise Star
2.5 cups Rice wash clean then add 3.75 cups of Coconut Milk with a pinch of salt
 Kangkong Sambal Belacan
500gm Kangkong (Clean and wash)
Soak 10gm Dry Shrimp
Blend 3 nos Red Chilli, 2 nos Shallots,
1 clove Garlic and 3cm Shrimp paste
Ikan Sardine Sambal
1kg (10#) Ikan Sardine clean and deep fried
Blend 6nos Shallots, 3 cloves Garlic, 100gm Dry Chilli and
Tarmerin paste.  Seasoning to taste.

Q's 2013 Chinese New Year Menu

Finally I manage to hold a very small sacle gathering with less than 10 pax. Normally each gathering we used to held are more than 50 pax less than 300 pax at our lovely home.  All food serve are home cook and these are menu for the night.

Q's Homemade Ice Cream Collections

Firstly I would like to thanks Chef Ghazali for this basis recipe.  Without it I would not be able to whip this out.  Ingredient you need are 2 nos Egg Yolk, 300 ml Whipping Cream, 300 ml Low Fat Milk, 50 gm Icing Sugar and the most important piece of equipment that is the Ice Cream Maker.

Chocolate Ice Cream (Add 30gm Chocolate powder to the basic recipe)

Green Tea Ice Cream (Add 30gm Green Tea Powder to the basic recipe)
